Montecristo Open Regata

The name of the Montecristo brand comes from the book “The Count of Monte Cristo”. During the time Montecristo was founded in 1935, this book was very popular among the Torcedores. The Montecristo Edmundo series is also inspired by the novel, as it is named after the hero Edmundo Dante. The Montecristo Open series has been on the market since 2009 and is intended to expand the target group with its lighter blending.

The Montecristo brand cigars are made exclusively from tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.

Harmonious, full-bodied taste with notes of leather, licorice and honey, smooth and controllable. As the smoke progresses, the taste remains manageable but gains a subtle spiciness.
