Leaf by Oscar cigars are manufactured by Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co in Honduras in a small factory that only produces very small quantities per year, but can process much higher quality raw tobacco than is possible for large manufacturers.
The Barber Pole stands out with its striped appearance and draws inspiration from the typically eye-catching barber poles that characterize barbershops around the world. Two wrappers of different colors, a Connecticut and a Corojo leaf, were combined to achieve the desired effect.
The Leaf Barber Pole is a Honduran Puro. The wrappers, binder and filler all come from Honduras.
In terms of taste, the mild to medium-bodied Barber Pole impresses with the combined aromas of the two wrappers. This creates a wonderfully creamy mixture of wood and lightly toasted nut notes.
