Leaf by Oscar Sampler

Leaf by Oscar cigars are made by Oscar Valladares Tobaccos in Honduras in a small factory that only produces very small quantities per year, but can process much higher quality raw tobacco than large manufacturers with millions of copies is able to do. There are many premium cigars that are wrapped in cellophane, paper, or cedar wood. However, Oscar Valladares wraps every single cigar in a beautiful wrapper. This not only protects the excellently manufactured premium cigar, but also encourages the aroma to be further refined and made more complex in every process, from fermentation to storage. Exceptionally beautiful wrappers are used for Leaf by Oscar, the veins of which seem to be barely visible and the surface looks as silky as a Connecticut Shade, although quite thick leaves with a strong aroma are used for the Corojo and Maduro lines.


Included in this sampler are:



  • Connecticut: The Connecticut wrapper gives the Leaf Connecticut a mild to medium strength, aromas such as nut and leather, but also a light pepperiness, complete the smoking experience.

  • Sumatra: A Honduran binder and a Honduran filler complete the Leaf Sumatra with a mild to medium-bodied body. Notes of espresso, white pepper and earthy undertones characterize the smoking experience of this cigar.

  • Corojo: The Leaf Corojo is a medium-strength cigar with a pronounced depth of aroma and delicate notes of pepper, toast and oak, very nicely balanced and creamy.

  • Maduro: The Leaf Maduro is a powerful premium cigar whose aroma combines smoky toasty notes with the sweetness of the Maduro wrapper. The aroma is accompanied by pepper and subtle chocolate notes.
