Leaf by Oscar started as a small boutique project from Leaf and Bean, a tiny shop in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The owner of this shop is the man after whom this cigar is named: Jim Robinson, alias "Island Jim".


The Island Jim No. 2 consists of rich Honduran filler tobacco, followed by a Nicaraguan binder and refined with a Connecticut wrapper from Honduras.


The cigar comes in typical Leaf by Oscar style. With a shaggy fioot and a very interesting multi-layered “torpedo tip”. Despite its robust appearance, the Island Jim is a perfectly rolled and immaculately crafted cigar. It has a huge smoke volume, a light draw and a perfectly even burn.


The mild Island Jim No. 2 Connecticut convinces with spicy notes of wood and a pleasant creaminess.
